SWIM•Float•SWIM!℠ Infant Swim Programs

Infant Aquatics℠ (1 – 5 years)

This 6-week program teaches toddlers and younger children the swim-float-swim sequence. Children will learn to swim a short distance with face fully submerged, to roll onto their back to float and rest whenever they need to breathe, and to flip back onto their tummy to continue to swim to safety while fully clothed. The SWIM•Float•SWIM!℠ sequence serves as the foundation for future stroke development and prepares our students to advance into our Aquababies and FunDay group lessons. Lessons are one-on-one, 4 days a week (M-Tu-W-Th), 10 minutes long for 6 consecutive weeks.

Infant Survival (6 – 12 months)

This 4-week program teaches infants six to twelve months to roll over from a face down or submerged position onto their backs to relax and breathe, while fully clothed, in preparation for joining a group Aquababies class. Lessons are one-on-one, 4 days a week (M-Tu-W-Th), 10 minutes long for 4 consecutive weeks.
